For restaurants Wage & hour compliance without the spreadsheet chaos

Make payroll compliance boring and automatic.

Autocomp ingests timesheets from your POS and scheduling tools, runs California wage & hour checks, and hands you clean, payroll-ready results. No more late nights reconciling labor reports.

  • Ingests timesheets from POS and time & scheduling systems
  • Flags compliance issues (OT/DT, missed & short meals, split shifts)
  • Produces a checklist you review once per payroll before exporting to ADP/Paychex
First focus: California restaurants. Additional states will be added if the pilot succeeds.

How Autocomp fits into your existing stack.

Autocomp doesn’t replace your POS, scheduling, or payroll provider. It sits quietly between them, doing the messy work of transforming raw timesheets into compliant, payroll-ready data.

  1. Connect your data sources. Start with your POS or primary time system. Add scheduling/timeclock tools as needed.
  2. Autocomp ingests and normalizes timesheets. We map employees, roles, and locations, and align everything to your pay periods.
  3. Compliance checks run automatically. California rules are applied (OT/DT, meals, breaks, premiums). Future: minimum wage deltas, waivers, and more.
  4. Review a simple checklist. You get a per-payroll summary of issues to review or annotate. No SQL, no spreadsheets.
  5. Export to payroll. Once you’re satisfied, export clean, validated data for ADP, Paychex, or your provider of choice.

Designed for operators, not engineers.

You don’t have time to debug reports. Autocomp gives you a single, repeatable workflow to prepare payroll every period.

  • Built around California DOL rules, with a roadmap for additional states.
  • Future: upload break waivers and generate DIR-required document bundles as a zip.
  • Future: automatic checks against changing minimum wage by jurisdiction.

Roadmap: beyond the first California pilot.

The first version of Autocomp is intentionally narrow: California restaurants, core wage & hour checks, and payroll prep. From there, we expand in two directions:

  • More states. Extend the rules engine to additional jurisdictions (WA, OR, NY, MA, etc.), starting with pilot customers.
  • Deeper compliance workflows. Break waivers, DIR document bundles, and minimum-wage deltas by city/county.
  • Richer data sources. Tighter integrations with POS APIs, scheduling APIs, and payroll providers.

Integrations (current & planned)

Autocomp is designed to sit between the tools restaurants already use:

  • POS / time sources: ingest timesheets from POS and exports from scheduling tools.
  • Payroll: produce clean CSV or file formats that map into ADP, Paychex, and others.
  • Documents (future): download CA DIR-required documents as a zip to keep your onboarding packets consistent.
